ye daur hai kyoñ amn-shikan soch rahā huuñ
niklegī yaqīnan koī taskīn kī sūrat
māyūs na hoñ ahl-e-vatan soch rahā huuñ
kya puchhte ho kya main 'chaman' soch raha hun
ye daur hai kyon amn-shikan soch raha hun
niklegi yaqinan koi taskin ki surat
mayus na hon ahl-e-watan soch raha hun
