sone chāñdī kī chamaktī huī mīzānoñ meñ
mere jazbāt kī taskīn nahīñ ho saktī
zindagī roz-e-azal se hai chhalaktā huā zahr
zindagī lā.eq-e-tahsīn nahīñ ho saktī
sone chandi ki chamakti hui mizanon mein
mere jazbaat ki taskin nahin ho sakti
zindagi roz-e-azal se hai chhalakta hua zahr
zindagi laeq-e-tahsin nahin ho sakti
