un ko milta hi nahin hai dur-e-maqsud kahin
un ko miltā hī nahīñ hai dur-e-maqsūd kahīñ
jo sadaf hai vahī ḳhālī nazar aatā hai unheñ
halqa-e-zulf ho yā surma-e-chashm-e-ḳhūbāñ
halqa-e-dām ḳhayālī nazar aatā hai unheñ
un ko milta hi nahin hai dur-e-maqsud kahin
jo sadaf hai wahi KHali nazar aata hai unhen
halqa-e-zulf ho ya surma-e-chashm-e-KHuban
halqa-e-dam KHayali nazar aata hai unhen
