ab hind kī zulmat se nikaltā huuñ maiñ
taufīq rafīq ho to chaltā huuñ maiñ
taqdīr ne beḌiyāñ to kaaTī haiñ 'anīs'
kyuuñ ruk ga.e paañv haath maltā huuñ maiñ
