ka.abe meñ to sidq aur safā ko paayā
but-ḳhāne meñ naaz aur adā ko paayā
hāsil na huā kahīñ se dil kā maqsad
jab ḳhud hī meñ DhūñDhā to ḳhudā ko paayā
kabe mein to sidq aur safa ko paya
but-KHane mein naz aur ada ko paya
hasil na hua kahin se dil ka maqsad
jab KHud hi mein DhunDha to KHuda ko paya
