marhum tamannaon ko kya yaad karen
marhūm tamannāoñ ko kyā yaad kareñ
kis kis se kaheñ kaise ye fariyād kareñ
ḳhud ham ne tabāhī kī qasam khaa.ī thī
kis tarah se phir shikva-e-bedād kareñ
marhum tamannaon ko kya yaad karen
kis kis se kahen kaise ye fariyaad karen
KHud hum ne tabahi ki qasam khai thi
kis tarah se phir shikwa-e-bedad karen
