سینٹرل جیل
مزدوری ایک اچھا پیشہ ہے
وہ اپنے ہاتھوں کی روٹی کھاتا ہے
حالانکہ میں زیادہ تر بھوکا رہتا ہوں
میں جھوٹ اور بری باتیں بھی سنتا ہوں
کبھی کبھی میں بے کار بھی رہتا ہوں
پھر بھی میں یہ ماننے کو
بالکل تیار نہیں کہ
میں ایسی امارت بناؤں
جس کے دروازہ پر کسی دن لکھا جائے -
