hum na soe raat thak kar so gai

haañ unhīñ logoñ se duniyā meñ shikāyat hai hameñ

haañ vahī log jo akasr hameñ yaad aa.e haiñ

han unhin logon se duniya mein shikayat hai hamein

han wahi log jo akasr hamein yaad aae hain

ye charāġh jaise lamhe kahīñ rā.egāñ na jaa.eñ

koī ḳhvāb dekh Daalo koī inqilāb laao

ye charagh jaise lamhe kahin raegan na jaen

koi KHwab dekh Dalo koi inqilab lao

dil kī khetī suukh rahī hai kaisī ye barsāt huī

ḳhvāboñ ke bādal aate haiñ lekin aag barastī hai

dil ki kheti sukh rahi hai kaisi ye barsat hui

KHwabon ke baadal aate hain lekin aag barasti hai

zindagī DhūñDh le tū bhī kisī dīvāne ko

us ke gesū to mire pyaar ne suljhā.e haiñ

zindagi DhunDh le tu bhi kisi diwane ko

us ke gesu to mere pyar ne suljhae hain
