kin havāoñ kī zad meñ aa.e haiñ
ho ga.e haiñ dhuāñ dhuāñ ham log
chup to pahle bhī jhelte the magar
is qadar kab the be-zabāñ ham log
kab mayassar koī kināra ho
kab sameTeñge bādbāñ ham log
ban ga.e raakh ab na-jāne kyuuñ
the kabhī sho.ala-e-tapāñ ham log
ham ko jaanā thā kis taraf 'razmī'!
aur kis samt haiñ ravāñ ham log

ban gae rakh ab na-jaane kyun
the kabhi shoala-e-tapan hum log
hum ko jaana tha kis taraf 'razmi'!
