jis ahd mein luT jae faqiron ki kamai
Interesting Fact
During a visit to India, former President of Pakistan Ayub Khan was deeply moved by a song that touched his heart, and he expressed a strong desire to meet the singer-songwriter. Surprisingly, when he discovered that the poet belonged to Pakistan, he was taken aback. Back in Pakistan, President Ayub issued orders to find the poet Sagar Siddiqui, who lived humbly outside the Data Darbar. Despite initial refusals, Siddiqui finally yielded to the persistent requests and wrote a heartfelt message on an aluminium foil taken from an empty cigarette box lying nearby, asking it to be delivered to the President. Siddiqui had written this couplet in his message to the president.

jis ahd mein luT jae faqiron ki kamai
