About The Author
Muhammad Shameem Ahmad Khan was born on 21 December 1956 in Katihar, Bihar. He moved to Pakistan along with his family and lived in Karachi. He passed his graduation from the Government College of Commerce and Technology of Karachi in 1974. He kept shifting jobs in different firms from 1976 to 1978 and got employed in a gas company as a clerk in 1979. There, he rose to the officer rank. He writes under the pen name of Rawish and is known as Shamiim Rawish. Doctor Wafa Rashidi compiled a book titled Shameem Rawish, which comprises a variety of articles of different literary personalities. The collections of his poetry are titled Palkon Ke Darmiyan, Rang Se Tasveer Tak and Sham Utarti Hai.
