In a significant development in 2007, Ansari enriched the second edition of "Ya'ani" with 80 previously unpublished couplets by Jaun Elia, further enhancing the poet's body of work. In 2012, he undertook the compilation of Elia's prose and published "Farnood," a collection of Elia's essays spanning various subjects.

One of Ansari's most notable achievements was the compilation and editing of the long poem "Ramooz" in 2016. This highly acclaimed work by Jaun Elia — composed over several years during the 1960s and 1970s — was preserved from fragmented and severely damaged handwritten notes. Currently, Khalid Ahmad Ansari is immersed in compiling "Kyun," another collection of Jaun Elia's poetry, further solidifying his role as a custodian of Jaun Elia's literary heritage.
