āñkhoñ meñ bhar ke ashk dikhāne lage mujhe
marte the merī 'aam sī bhī guftugū pe jo
sab kuchh ġhalat kahā ye batāne lage mujhe
mujh se bichhaḌ ke us ne banā.ī raqīb se
is tarz-e-be-ruḳhī se satāne lage mujhe
jo mere ham-nashīñ ne mujhe ḳhaas kar diye
un zaḳhmoñ se ubharte zamāne lage mujhe
har ik ne purza-purza mirā joḌ kar diyā
phir mil ke saath aag lagāne lage mujhe
