fart-e-jazbāt meñ jazbāt ko mahdūd rakho
ya.anī is ishq kī bahutāt ko mahdūd rakho
hukm-e-hākim hai ki is des meñ jiinā hai agar
chup raho aur savālāt ko mahdūd rakho
aao sikhlā.ūñ tumheñ jiine kā maiñ Dhang nayā
baat baḌhtī ho agar baat ko mahdūd rakho
kyā sabab hai jo kudūrat hai zamāne-bhar meñ
hukm ko samjho ḳhitābāt ko mahdūd rakho
aa hī nikle ho agar dasht-e-mohabbat to ye sar
ḳham rakho aur mafādāt ko mahdūd rakho

yani is ishq ki bahutat ko mahdud rakho
hukm-e-hakim hai ki is des mein jina hai agar
chup raho aur sawalat ko mahdud rakho
aao sikhlaun tumhein jine ka main Dhang naya
baat baDhti ho agar baat ko mahdud rakho
kya sabab hai jo kudurat hai zamane-bhar mein
hukm ko samjho KHitabaat ko mahdud rakho
aa hi nikle ho agar dasht-e-mohabbat to ye sar
KHam rakho aur mafadat ko mahdud rakho
