har gul pe thā nikhār abhī kal kī baat hai
jo dekhte haiñ chashm-e-hiqārat se ab mujhe
karte the mujh se pyaar abhī kal kī baat hai
mere chaman meñ kis liye pābandiyāñ haiñ aaj
thā mujh ko iḳhtiyār abhī kal kī baat hai
jo dekh kar nigāh bachā kar chale ga.e
karte the intizār abhī kal kī baat hai
'ramman' ko ab bhī apnī mohabbat pe naaz hai
tum bā-vafā the yaar abhī kal kī baat hai
