jo dekhe the vo saare ḳhvāb ruḳhsat ho ga.e haiñ
hamāre sab adab ādāb ruḳhsat ho ga.e haiñ
ye duniyā jis gharāne ke sabab tū ne banā.ī
tirī duniyā se vo be-āb ruḳhsat ho ga.e haiñ
nigahbāñ the jo sāhil par hamārī kashtiyoñ ke
vo sab ke sab sar-e-girdāb ruḳhsat ho ga.e haiñ
paḌā hai jab qabīle par hamāre vaqt koī
hamāre mo'atabar ahbāb ruḳhsat ho ga.e haiñ
tulū-e-sub.h kī afvāh par mahfil se us kī
hazāroñ anjum-o-mahtāb ruḳhsat ho ga.e haiñ
