kahāñ āfāq saarā chāhiye thā
hameñ bas ik sitāra chāhiye thā
jahāñ dekhūñ vahāñ aao nazar tum
nazar ko vo nazāra chāhiye thā
merī ḳhāmoshiyoñ kā tū sabab thā
mujhe terā ishāra chāhiye thā
dobāra chāhtā thā ishq karnā
mujhe tū hī dobāra chāhiye thā
ġhazal likhne lagā furqat meñ terī
koī dilkash sahārā chāhiye thā
kahan aafaq sara chahiye tha
hamein bas ek sitara chahiye tha
jahan dekhun wahan aao nazar tum
nazar ko wo nazara chahiye tha
meri KHamoshiyon ka tu sabab tha
mujhe tera ishaara chahiye tha
dobara chahta tha ishq karna
mujhe tu hi dobara chahiye tha
ghazal likhne laga furqat mein teri
koi dilkash sahaara chahiye tha
