خندق دہر میں اتر تو سکوں
جو نہ اب تک ہوا وہ کر تو سکوں
گرد آلود آمد و شد ہے
چاہتوں میں گزر بسر تو سکوں
چل رہی ہے ہوائے تند و تیز
تلخیوں کو ذرا شکر تو سکوں
ساری کی ساری نعمتیں ہیں ادھر
کچھ ادھر کو ذرا ادھر تو سکوں
دھوپ برسا رہی ہے انگارے
شہر بے سایہ کو شجر تو سکوں
تیری دنیا میں سرحدیں ہیں بہت
چاہوں جس سمت سے گزر تو سکوں
