kyoñ nahīñ phir hogī sunvā.ī ġharīboñ kī ye soch
gar kareñge khul ke un par aur aḳhbārāt bahs
aise toḌā tum ne rishta baat bhī ab hai fuzūl
kyā mujhe lauTā sakegī vo mire lamhāt bahs
kah diyā hai tū ne jo hai aadmī achchhā 'sujīt'
yaar sab tere kareñge us pe ab din raat bahs
