us ko bhī mujh haqīr se chāhat ġhazab kī thī
vo laḌkī jo nasīb pe rotī thī raat bhar
galiyoñ meñ us ke husn kī shohrat ġhazab kī thī
hañste hue laboñ ko vo halke se kāTnā
vallāh us hasīn kī aadat ġhazab kī thī
jaane se us ke baaġh meñ aalam ḳhizāñ kā thā
sūkhe guloñ meñ qaid vo vahshat ġhazab kī thī
ḳhanjar raqīb kā thā to tadbīr dost kī
maqtal meñ 'zoyā' yaar kī shirkat ġhazab kī thī
mujh ko bhi us se ishq tha ulfat ghazab ki thi
us ko bhi mujh haqir se chahat ghazab ki thi
wo laDki jo nasib pe roti thi raat bhar
galiyon mein us ke husn ki shohrat ghazab ki thi
hanste hue labon ko wo halke se kaTna
wallah us hasin ki aadat ghazab ki thi
jaane se us ke bagh mein aalam KHizan ka tha
sukhe gulon mein qaid wo wahshat ghazab ki thi
KHanjar raqib ka tha to tadbir dost ki
maqtal mein 'zoya' yar ki shirkat ghazab ki thi
