phir koi jal naya usne bichhaya hoga
phir koī jaal nayā us ne bichhāyā hogā
uḌ ke panchhī bhī baḌī duur se aayā hogā
dard sone nahīñ degā use mā'lūm thā ye
kah ke qissa koī phir dil ko sulāyā hogā
ik shajar aaj bhī be-ḳhauf khaḌā hai dekho
bāġhbāñ ne use āñdhī se bachāyā hogā
nuur barse hai mohabbat kī anā hai aisī
vo bashar sirf sadāqat kā nahāyā hogā
phir koi jal naya us ne bichhaya hoga

dard sone nahin dega use ma'lum tha ye
kah ke qissa koi phir dil ko sulaya hoga
ek shajar aaj bhi be-KHauf khaDa hai dekho
baghban ne use aandhi se bachaya hoga
nur barse hai mohabbat ki ana hai aisi
wo bashar sirf sadaqat ka nahaya hoga
