tere kun ka to pentra hai purana
tire kun kā to peñtrā hai purānā
na.e mo'jize māñgtā hai zamānā
chhupā hai jo ham se pata hai na us ko
mohabbat meñ hai jurm kuchh bhī chhupānā
bhare tarkashoñ kā bharam bhī bahut hai
nahīñ lāzmī tiir saare chalānā
safar hai paḌāv aate jaate raheñge
kisī ik Thikāne se kyā dil lagānā
‘ajūba sā kuchh ant meñ hogā 'fānī'
vagarna to kyā hī thā saarā fasāna
