apnī 'umroñ se baḌe ho ga.e bachche yaaro
in ke bachpan ko bachāo to koī baat bane
tum mujhe bhuul chuke ho to koī baat nahīñ
tum mujhe yaad na aao to koī baat bane
in makānoñ kī qatāroñ ko zarā dekho to
in meñ ghar ek dikhāo to koī baat bane
īñT-patthar ke ye jangal nahīñ deñge sāñseñ
roz kuchh peḌ lagāo to koī baat bane
budhdh hone ke liye bhāgnā ghar se hai ġhalat
dil na apnoñ kā dukhāo to koī baat bane
ḳhud-kushī to kabhī achchhī nahīñ ho saktī hai
zindagī jī ke dikhāo to koī baat bane

KHud-kushi to kabhi achchhi nahin ho sakti hai
