ye hijr merī zaat pe ehsān hī to hai
ye raunaq-e-hayāt tirā dhyān hī to hai
khilne lageñge phir tirī yādoñ ke taaza phuul
ujḌā nahīñ hai dil mirā vīrān hī to hai
vo chāhe mujh ko dil meñ rakhe yā nikāl de
mehmān har lihāz se mehmān hī to hai
baiThī raho yaqīn ki kashtī meñ 'mādhvī'
ik roz tham hī jā.egā tūfān hī to hai
