bastī meñ haiñ aur bhī kutte
āzādāna taur pe jo ki ghuum rahe haiñ
logoñ ko kuchh kaaT rahe haiñ
bhauñk rahe tan noch rahe haiñ
tum ne apne kutte se to
āzādī ko chhīn liyā hai
khol bhī do
zanjīr gale se
āḳhir tum kyā soch rahe ho
tum ne apne hāthoñ ko kyoñ rok liyā hai
tum ne jab kuttā paalā hai

phir kyon is ko bandh rakha hai
gardan ko aazad bhi kar do zanjiron se
taki ye bhi
logon ko kaTe
chalti-phirti lash samajh kar

basti mein hain aur bhi kutte
aazadana taur pe jo ki ghum rahe hain
logon ko kuchh kaT rahe hain
bhaunk rahe tan noch rahe hain

aazadi ko chhin liya hai
khol bhi do

aaKHir tum kya soch rahe ho
tum ne apne hathon ko kyon rok liya hai
