Born :Agra, Uttar pradesh

Khawaja Ashanullah Khan Bayan was born at Agra In later years, he migrated to Hyderabad where he worked under the ruler of Hyderabad. Bayan was a disciple of Mirza Mazhar Janejana and Maulana Mohammed Fakhruddin. He was primarily a ghazal writer and was a contemporary of Yaqin Fughan.
