ruKH se fitrat ke hijabaat uTha deta hai

dil mein rahna kabhi KHwabon ke nagar mein rahna

gham dete hain to iztirab na de

haqiqaton se kabhi inhiraf mat kije

yarab dil-o-nazar pe musallat kabhi na ho

KHwab tere hain ye KHwabon ka nagar tera hai

ab saliben shah-rahon par saja di jaengi

mizaj-e-mustaqil dena shuur-e-moatabar dena

tera husn hai wo sahba ki koi misal kya de

kabhi shuur kabhi dil kabhi suKHan mahke

ba-juz KHayal-e-gham-e-mohabbat koi mera ham-safar nahin hai
