Profile of Hazin Siddiqi
Qazi Muhammad Afeef Siddiqui wrote under the pen name, Hazeen. He was born on September 1922 in Rohtak. He began to write poetry in 1939. His brother-in-law Safeeruddin Siddiqui was his guide. He had worked in All India Radio, Delhi between 1939 and 1945. He passed a large part of his life at Shabab Production, Lahore. He worked as an Editor of Lahore Talkies and Naya Pyam. He was the Editor in Chief of Bazm-E-Daanish that was established in the memory of Ehsan Daanish and had also been an active member of Bazm-E-Ziya-E-Adab, Multan. He died on 27 December 1995. Qafas-E-Rang and Harf-E-Abad are the collections of his poetry.
