Jaabir Ali Khan was born in 1929 in Allahabad. He was the disciple of Syed Shamshad Husain Hamraaz. He wrote under the pen name, Raaz. He had been a very successful poet in mushairas. Ashk-E-Nadamat, Dhadkanein, Rang-O-Noor, and Manzilein are the collections of his works. He died on 28 December 1996 in Allahabad.
