On nature of eternal truth were there to be discourse
Sans mention of goblet and wine there is no recourse
देख ज़िंदाँ से परे रंग-ए-चमन जोश-ए-बहार
रक़्स करना है तो फिर पाँव की ज़ंजीर न देख
उस ग़ैरत-ए-नाहीद की हर तान है दीपक
शोला सा लपक जाए है आवाज़ तो देखो
