Sher of Agha Hashr Kashmiri
goyā tumhārī yaad hī merā ilaaj hai
hotā hai pahroñ zikr tumhārā tabīb se
goya tumhaari yaad hi mera ilaj hai
hota hai pahron zikr tumhaara tabib se
yaad meñ terī jahāñ ko bhūltā jaatā huuñ maiñ
bhūlne vaale kabhī tujh ko bhī yaad aatā huuñ maiñ
yaad mein teri jahan ko bhulta jata hun main
bhulne wale kabhi tujh ko bhi yaad aata hun main

If you were to be deceived by what the foe says,
I would complain more of ill-fate, than of you.
