āsmānoñ meñ uḌā karte haiñ phūle phūle
halke logoñ ke baḌe kaam havā kartī hai
aasmanon mein uDa karte hain phule phule
halke logon ke baDe kaam hawa karti hai
samajhte hī nahīñ haiñ log nā-samjhī kī mushkil ko
suhūlat dekhte haiñ aur samajhnā chhoḌ dete haiñ
samajhte hi nahin hain log na-samjhi ki mushkil ko
suhulat dekhte hain aur samajhna chhoD dete hain
kam ma.arka-e-zīst nahīñ jang-e-uhad se
asbāb-e-jahāñ māl-e-ġhanīmat kī tarah hai
kam marka-e-zist nahin jang-e-uhad se
asbab-e-jahan mal-e-ghanimat ki tarah hai
apne jalne kā hamesha se tamāshā.ī huuñ
aag ye kis ne lagā.ī mujhe ma.alūm nahīñ
apne jalne ka hamesha se tamashai hun
aag ye kis ne lagai mujhe malum nahin
āñkhoñ meñ us kī maiñ ne āḳhir malāl dekhā
kin kin bulandiyoñ par apnā zavāl dekhā
aankhon mein us ki main ne aaKHir malal dekha
kin kin bulandiyon par apna zawal dekha
