merī vahshat mire afkār ko khā jā.egī
ashk roko nahī bah jaane do varna ik din
ye namī jism kī dīvār ko khā jā.egī
baat sun yaar mire dasht hī behtar hai tujhe
terī vīrānī to bāzār ko khā jā.egī
jāntā thā mire kirdār ke ḳhāliq kī nazar
biich afsāne meñ kirdār ko khā jā.egī
vaqt hai ab bhī ḳhudā aa ke bachā le is ko
ye udāsī tire shahkār ko khā jā.egī
zindagī piir se hafte ko agar khīñch bhī ga.ī
maut ārām se itvār ko khā jā.egī
aah 'ahmad' ye tirī ishq meñ paane kī havas
ye tire ishq ke me.aar ko khā jā.egī

ye tere ishq ke mear ko kha jaegi
