Abdul Mannan Samdi was born on October 16, 1988, in an intellectual family in Aligarh. His respected father, Engineer Abdul Samad, is the reason why Abdul Mannan adopted the pen name "Samadi," in reference to his father's name.
His early education began at a madarsa, where he memorized the Quran at Madarsa Arabiya Tameer-e-Millat. After that, he obtained his Fazeelat degree from Jamia Diniyat Urdu (Deoband) and later pursued a diploma in Quranic Studies from Aligarh Muslim University.
Continuing his academic journey, Abdul Mannan Samadi completed his B.A. and B.Ed. from Maulana Azad National Urdu University (Hyderabad) and later earned his M.A. in Urdu from Aligarh Muslim University.
In poetry, Abdul Mannan Samadi was guided by two prominent mentors (poet): first, Khalid Nadeem Farooqi, who introduced him to the fundamental principles of poetry, and secondly, his real uncle, Dr. Shahram Sarmadi, who played a significant role in his literary training. This unique combination of academic and literary guidance has shaped Abdul Mannan Samdi into an outstanding poet.
