Aleena Itrat, a beautiful poet with a beautiful accent, was born on June 6 in Nagina, Bijnor District, UP. She has a B. Ed with an MA in English Literature and History and are currently involved in teaching.

She is a pure craftswoman. Her Ghazals are a testament to her earnest disposition and conduct, all of which is extremely thought-provoking. Far from performance-based, Mushaira-dominated poetry, Atiya affords her emotions a new lease of life in her couplet, often incarnating them, eternalizing them. The purity of feminine feelings and emotions are the hallmarks of her poetry.

Her poetry collection "Suraj Tum Jao" has been well received by the people and has been awarded by Delhi Urdu Academy and Bihar Urdu Academy in the years 2015 and 2016. In addition, she has been awarded numerous national and international awards. Her Ghazals, Nazms, and short-stories, are published by choice literary journals, both home and away. Owning to her distinct tone and uncompromising standard of writing, she has attained a distinguished identity in literary circles.
