Real Name : Kali Charan

Born :Delhi

Kali Charan Asar Dehlavi belonged to the Kayastha community and lived in Gali Arya Samaj, Bazar Sita Ram in old Delhi. He first went to Sham Lal Sehar for counselling on his poetry but later joined the discipleship of Munawwar Lucknawi. He wrote in almost all poetical forms but excelled as poet of ghazal and rubai. He did not leave any published collection of his poetry. He passed away in 1978.
