bagule uth chale the aur na thi kuchh der aandhi mein
bhare hain us pari mein ab to yaro sar-ba-sar moti
dur se aae the saqi sun ke mai-khane ko hum
gar humne dil sanam ko diya phir kisi ko kya
gulzar hai daghon se yahan tan badan apna
ho kyun na tere kaam mein hairan tamasha
ishq phir rang wo laya hai ki ji jaane hai
jhamak dikhate hi us dil-ruba ne lut liya
jo dil ko dije to dil mein khush ho kare hai kis kis tarah se halchal
kal nazar aaya chaman mein ek ajab rashk-e-chaman
mani ne jo dekha teri taswir ka naqsha
miyan dil tujhe le chale husn wale
muntazir uske dila ta-ba-kuja baithna
na main dil ko ab har makan bechta hun
na surkhi ghuncha-e-gul mein tere dahan ki si
nahin hawa mein ye bu na farokhtan ki si
nazar pada ek but-e-pari-wash nirali saj-dhaj nai ada ka
rukh pari chashm pari zulf pari aan pari
shab-e-mah mein dekh us ka wo jhamak jhamak ke chalna
uske sharar-e-husn ne shola jo ek dikha diya
ye chhapke ka jo baala kan mein ab tumne dala hai
ye husn hai aah ya qayamat ki ek bhabhuka bhabhak raha hai
