Nilanshu Ranjan, originally from Begusarai in Bihar, started his career as TV Journalist at Patna. In TV Journalism, Etv, Bihar- Jharkhand was his turning point where he carved a niche for himself. In Etv, he anchored a very popular weekly show " Aamne- Samne "    in which he interviewed top notch politicians of the country like Arun Jaitley, Venkaiya Naidu, Pramod Mahajan, Nitish Kumar, Digvijay Singh etc. Apart from " Aamne- Samne ", he anchored another programme " Chunav Maidaan Se" during Bihar Assembly elections in 2005. After Etv, he travelled to another news channels like India News and P7. More than 100 articles on socio- political issues have been published in leading Hindi and English newspapers. After spending almost 18 years in journalism, he switched over to literary writing. His famous novel based on extra marital affair " Khamosh Lamhon Ka Safar" is widely acclaimed. His collection of nazms " Raat, Khamoshi Aut Tum" has come out from Hindyugm and it's foreword has been written by none else but Rahat Indori. He is actively participating in Mushairayas through out the country and is known for his wonderful recitation and for his voice. He has been interviewed by so many channels and magazines. His another novel based on communal riot " Faisle - Dar- Faasle" is shortly co Continued- His another novel " Faasle- Dar- Faasle" is shortly coming. His first novel  " Khamosh Lamhon Ka Safar" is being put into films.
