Employed in the Civil Services of Pakistan, Rahman Faris is currently posted as Additional Commissioner, Inland Services, Islamabad. His first collection of poetry is published by the name, ‘Ishq-ba-Khair’. Invited to Mushairas across the world, Rahman Faris has recited his poems in America, Europe, Middle-East, India, Bangladesh, China, Turkey, and Australia for his countless admirers. A travelogue of his recent literary tour of the United States is currently under publication. He has appeared on Pakistan television as an anchorperson of a popular literature-oriented show and has also written numerous columns in distinguished English journals.
