Ghazal 42

Sher-o-Shayari 16

aap ko ḳhuun ke aañsū rulānā hogā

hāl-e-dil kahne ko ham apnā agar baiTh ga.e

aap ko KHun ke aansu hi rulana hoga

haal-e-dil kahne ko hum apna agar baiTh gae

tum apnī zulf se pūchho mirī pareshānī

ki haal us ko hai ma.alūm hū-ba-hū merā

tum apni zulf se puchho meri pareshani

ki haal us ko hai malum hu-ba-hu mera

na aa.e sāmne mere agar nahīñ aatā

mujhe to us ke sivā kuchh nazar nahīñ aatā

na aae samne mere agar nahin aata

mujhe to us ke siwa kuchh nazar nahin aata

tere kahne se maiñ ab lā.ūñ kahāñ se nāseh

sabr jab is dil-e-muztar ko ḳhudā ne na diyā

tere kahne se main ab laun kahan se naseh

sabr jab is dil-e-muztar ko KHuda ne na diya

kar diyā tīroñ se chhalnī mujhe saarā lekin

ḳhuun hone ke liye us ne jigar chhoḌ diyā

kar diya tiron se chhalni mujhe sara lekin

KHun hone ke liye us ne jigar chhoD diya
