Awareness is a virtue
but being unaware may also be a bliss in disguise. It brings one close to selflessness which is a higher human quality. It also speaks of human innocence and imparts certain value to personality. This can be appreciated in the context of how too much of awareness causes suffering and leads to creating disastrous situations. Some verses bring forth these aspects suitably enough.
ḳhabar-e-tahayyur-e-ishq sun na junūñ rahā na parī rahī
na to tū rahā na to maiñ rahā jo rahī so be-ḳhabarī rahī
KHabar-e-tahayyur-e-ishq sun na junun raha na pari rahi
na to tu raha na to main raha jo rahi so be-KHabari rahi

ho mohabbat kī ḳhabar kuchh to ḳhabar phir kyuuñ ho
ye bhī ik be-ḳhabarī hai ki ḳhabar rakhte haiñ
ho mohabbat ki KHabar kuchh to KHabar phir kyun ho
ye bhi ek be-KHabari hai ki KHabar rakhte hain
asrār agar samjhe duniyā kī har ik shai ke
ḳhud apnī haqīqat se ye be-ḳhabarī kyuuñ hai
asrar agar samjhe duniya ki har ek shai ke
KHud apni haqiqat se ye be-KHabari kyun hai
hosh-mandī se jahāñ baat na bantī ho 'sahar'
kaam aise meñ bahut be-ḳhabarī aatī hai
hosh-mandi se jahan baat na banti ho 'sahar'
kaam aise mein bahut be-KHabari aati hai
ḳhabar ke moḌ pe sañg-e-nishāñ thī be-ḳhabarī
Thikāne aa.e mire hosh yā Thikāne lage
KHabar ke moD pe sang-e-nishan thi be-KHabari
Thikane aae mere hosh ya Thikane lage
kuchh kamāyā nahīñ bāzār-e-ḳhabar meñ rah kar
band dukkān kareñ be-ḳhabarī pesha kareñ
kuchh kamaya nahin bazar-e-KHabar mein rah kar
band dukkan karen be-KHabari pesha karen
sahv aur sukr meñ rahte haiñ tabhī to fuqarā
kyūñki aalam hai ajab be-ḳhabarī kā aalam
sahw aur sukr mein rahte hain tabhi to fuqara
kyunki aalam hai ajab be-KHabari ka aalam
