A جفا jafā (v.n. fr. جفو), s.f. (orig. 'roughness or rudeness,' but, by the Persians, used in the sense of) Oppression, violence, cruelty, injury, injustice, hardship:—jafā-pesha, jafā-jū, jafā-shěʻār, jafā-kār, adj. & s.m.
