Fahmi Badayuni does not require any introduction. His real name is Zamaan Sher Khan, also known as Puttan Khan. He was born on January 4, 1952, in the town of Basoli, Badaun district. He is widely known in Urdu literature by the name "Fahmi Badayuni". After his early education, life's necessities forced him to take up a job as a 'Lekhpal' at a young age. When that job ended, he began coaching students in mathematics and science, a practice he continues to this day.
Fahmi's poetry reflects modernity, serious thoughts, and fresh perspectives. His verses resonate so deeply that readers can't help but appreciate them. His work contains pain, passion, and longing. The themes he explores in his poetry come across as genuine. He is among the most liked poets on social media. He has published three poetry collections: "Paanchwi Simt", "Dastaken Nigaahon Ki" and "Hijr Ki Dusri Dawa". Recently, one of his collections "Hijr Ki Dusri Dawa" was released by Rekhta in the Nagri script. Even today, Fahmi actively participates in gatherings and poetry recitals, sharing his work with great enthusiasm.
