Abdul Majeed Salikcharagh-e-zindagi hoga farozan hum nahin honge

Abdul Majeed Salikishq hai be-gudaz kyun husn hai be-niyaz kyun
meri wafa kahan gai un ki jafa ko kya hua
hāl-e-dil sun ke vo āzurda haiñ shāyad un ko
is hikāyat pe shikāyat kā gumāñ guzrā hai
Abdul Majeed Salikhaal-e-dil sun ke wo aazurda hain shayad un ko
is hikayat pe shikayat ka guman guzra hai
