Ahmad Faraz was one of the great modern Urdu poets of the last century. He also holds an exclusive ranking as one of the best contemporary poets, with a simple but inimitable style. This is an effort to present Top 20 exclusive and premium shers of Faraz, which have scaled the heights of popularity and are extensively recited. Indeed, it has been a challenge to create this list, although we do agree with the presence of quite a few good better shers, outside this list.
